  • Sold my Bird

I sold my Bird yesterday. After trying to sell it for two months with no luck, I decided to bite the bullet and sell it to Auto Advantage. I enjoyed the car for the short time that I had it however, deep down I'm a 60's Muscle Car guy and I want to go back in that direction. I'm looking at a beautiful triple black 67 Ford Fairlane 289 HI PO car.

I would like to thank everyone that helped me here with questions that I have had. I have meet some nice people here especially Tony my Doo-Wop pal from N.Y.

This is a marvelous site that all members should be proud of. Good luck and God bless ya all!

I had a 67 light blue convertible with a 429 engine. It was a great car and gas was cheap. Problem was the octane wasn't high enough to stop the ping.

          I have a 289 V-8 in my 1948 Willys CJ2A. It's a little screamer. Leroy

I had a '65 Mustang that I sold when we came to California in '72. A big mistake, should have shipped it out here.

Had a 66 Fairlane 2dr HT (same body style as the 67). Dark metallic green, with vinyl parchment interior, 289 CI 2-barrel with 3- speed manual, no A/C. Just married and not much money for options. Beautiful car but traded it in 67 for a Cougar.
