Bet that one will bring in a lot of money.

I suggest we start a pool and all buy it together, on a timeshare basis. I've already broken into the Piggy Bank to collect my funds and am respectfully submitting my request for week 24. Who is going to volunteer to go to Scottsdale to represent us?

Now there is an idea worth some merit.

I say we have a pool to see who can come closest to the high bid. I'll say $120,000.00. Leroy

I just hope it goes to someone who is as willing as the finder/restorer of that bird was to show it around the country for the last 35 years. For more info on the bird, just do some google searches on George Watts.

No H/T different times Ford may have bought it.

P5FH100005 - documented by Ford back in the late 60s - or whenever it was that George Watts obtained the car and started researching it.

and no, it's not a million dollar car but I'm sure that Barrett-Jackson is smiling at your guesses.

Dot, I wouldn't be so sure about that. Do you know what the first Corvette went for a

Interesting car, the first T-Birds... I had occasion to actually sit in one for the first time a couple of weeks ago at a car show. It was nearly impossible to get into and out of, and the floorboard was about 6" lower than the very uncomfortable seat! Great looking car, though! I guess that is why so many of them were kept low mileage. I don't think the term ERGONOMICS came into play until a few years later. Another notable FIRST in the year 1955 ... I was born! I think the car has aged better, though.
