I'm driving the T-bird today, It's going to be a beautiful day here in Northern Indiana. High in the mid-forties and not a cloud in the sky. We don't have Thanksgiving at our house becuase my wife has to work every Thanksgiving. She's been working at Strongbow Inn in Valparaiso, Indiana for 15 years. They're famous for thier Turkey dinners. They've been there since the early 1900s, they were a Turkey farm at one time and then started a resturant and have continued to grow. The place is a huge facility now and my wife is the manager of thier Bakery. They'll serve over 3000 dinners today and almost everyone stops at the bakery to get a pie to take home or alot of peple just come in to buy thier dinner rolls and gravy. They also have fresh made breads, cakes, cookies, deserts, and even Turkey pot pies. My Wife might not get home till after 9:pm tonight, then tomarrow they're closed to give all the employees a break. Today I'm going to my Wifes Mom and Dad's for dinner, I'm bringing a Pumpkin and a Pecan pie from the bakery. After dinner there, on my way home I'll stop at my Son's house and see the Grand-kids and I'm sure my X will be there too, but that's OK she's harmless now. My Daughter's family always go to her Husband's Parents in Southern Indiana for Thanksgiving. My Step-Daughter is coming up from Bloomington, Indiana were she works and goes to school at I.U., she's staying with us but she's having Thanksgiving dinner with her Dad at his Mother's house. Then at Christmas we all manage to come togeather as one big Happy Family. My Step-Daughter wants my Wife to go with her to a big sale at one of the stores at the mall Friday morning, doors open at 4:am, hope they don't think I'm going.
Happy Thanksgiveing to all! Leroy
