  • A Little Christmas Present

My S.O. and I went to a very nice local Hotel resort on the water for a Christmas lunch cruise. We pulled into the the Hotel's covered front entrance and valet area with the T-Bird, top down, boot on, and shinning like new. I gave the valet attendant $5 (there would also be a tip when we got back) to park it safely somewhere. When we came back the car was sitting right in front of the entrance on an island safely out of the way where they normaly park the high end vehicles. It was the first car I've ever had that warranted such a spot and I was very pleased and proud.

Nice present, Gary - for you and your S.O.... and your car. There are a lot of non-owners out there that like our cars and are happy to treat them like that.

That sounds great Gary. Bet the lunch tasted even better because of that.
Did you manage to take a picture of it?

I to went to a high end restraunt and had my car valie parked. When I

came out it was parked at the front door and all the Bentleys were

parked behind. The couple that I had dinner with was very impressed.

We use the Valet Parking when we go to the Fourwinds Casino in Michigan. It's only about a hour drive from our home in Indiana. We went there on our Aniversory once and spent the night in the Hotel there. Good thing I won some $$$$$. Leroy

Now Here's The Rest Of The Story......

When my S.O. and I arrived safely back home, I looked down at my dashboard and realized to my horror that there were an unexplained 346 miles on the odometer and the faint smell of burning rubber lingering in the interior......
