  • Re: 2009 T-Bird sightings

When we left the show at Breakers last night there was a black from Lee County GA in the parking lot. Personal note for Judge Judy. If you get to Panama City this year, check out the Viva Las Vegas show at the Breakers. Todd Herendeen and his band put on a fantastic show. The first part he performs a variety of songs you'll all remember from artists like Roy Orbison, Tim McGraw, Tom Jones, Johnny Cash and others. Here's the part for Judy. The second half of the show is a tribute to Elvis! He and the entire band were very entertaining. During the break Todd came around to every table and spoke with everyone in attendance.

Out in Greenbrier this afternoon a well-kept MSB with blue soft-top was heading west on G-brier Pkwy toward Military Hwy; North Carolina plate "BLUBIRD" (I think). Got a very enthusiastic (I was in Goldi)!

Leaving Sedro Woolley on HWY 9 spotted a EB with black soft top up. We were in the 56 top down waved and got a big wave back. Met a couple newer Vet and got thumbs up from them.

Not a sighting but saw pictures (taken by a friend) of a 007 car and found out where it is parked while at the owner is at work. Will look into it this week. The owner is so proud of the car she even showed our friend the glove box plaque number 699.

          Just got home from Caddo Lake ( N E TX - N W LA)

I saw what looked like a Cashmere on an exit ramp off I-20 Friday about noon, and another late today on Hwy 49.

Don't know if it was the same Bird, or not.

We have a TX member in Hooks with a Cashmere, but I didn't get that far East.
I was a passenger in my friend's truck. So they wouldn't have paid any attention to us.

Yesterday coming home I saw a beautifully restored 55 white TB that I've never seen out here before (35 years in this subdivision). Nobody in the Special Interest Ford group knew of the car either.

I am in the Virginia Tech area for Rescue College. Saw a Torch Red near Route 11 and 460 around 12:30 on Sunday and today as I was around VA Tech, saw a Evening Black. Neither one was topless.

One the other hand, I made two cars yesterday and a school bus today topless. They weren't that way when we started, but with the correct tools, any vehicle can be topless. Isn't Rescue College great!!!!!

A few years back, Canadian , Chris Hadfield, who works at the space center, was moving to Housten while working there, and he had just purchased a '55 Bird to restore and drive while down there. Perhpas it was Chris.

Saw a VMG this morning, sitting at a stop light, blowing his horn. It was in a CNN news video from L.A.

Saw a Torch Red on MD 439 Thursday. Gawd they move slow. It was heading to Bel Air MD, red hardtop on. Also saw on on a dealers lot in Chambersburg, PA this morning - it wasn't moving at all.

My pool little black bird has had one heck of a 'nature's bath' the past few days.

I meet my old yellow '02 a couple of times a week on the way to work. I took it to another state when I traded it and a lady who lives within a few miles of my office bought it. Seeing it so often is one of the reasons I ended up buying the '03 I have now. As far as I know, there are only three T-birds in this entire county.
