But as I was pulling into the Horseshoe casino parking lot I saw another Bird, I believe it was a 02as it was yellow. This person must play cards check out the plate

That '02 IY appears to be a Canadian Bird that flew south (no parking lights)!

On July 5th, 2009 my daughter who happens to live about 5 blocks away from me in Seward NE called me and told me that she has a yellow TBird right accross the street of her house. I jumped in my 04 and flew there. Yup there was an yellow 02 Well I met the owners and we talked TBird for awhile they are all ready TBN members.

Yup could be a Canadian Bird that flew south, I am unware of the lights thing. Here are more photos of June 28th, 2009 02 Bird I saw at Council Bluffs Iowa Horseshoe casino parking lot. Hey folks have you noticed when I see a Bird and can I take photos of them, something we should strive for.:sun:

If you suspect a Bird is Canadian, check the speedometer for KM or for decal in French on the passenger window with 'objects in the mirror appear ........etc.

Spent the last 5 days in Tulsa for a tbird event. spotted 3 red birds - two 02s, and an 04; 1 03 white; 1 02 black; 1 PCR. Spotted Paul Thomas and his son on Saturday and spent some time talking with them. Spotted about 100 classics. Our 57 won most popular in the Display category - quite a surprise when you get to see how many were displayed! will post some pics on my photobucket site when I get around to it.

Thanks, John. It was a little embarrassing though as we did nothing to clean it up from the drive up. The carpets had gravel in them and cut grass (you all know what I mean), bugs on the front and windshield. Left the seat covers on and the traveling junk in the car. Next to us was parked one of Amos Minter's cars that he had up for best unrestored - it did get best unrestored! It rained all morning, the day of judging and Amos' wife, Amy, dried off hers and mine. at least the rain cleaned the car off

On the way home from an errand spotted a IY top up as it was tring to rain. I was in the pickup.

The 4 side marker lights were a free option. The supplemental lights (which most people call "the fog lights") were on the front of the US cars & you had no say in the matter.

Supplemental lights were n/c option on my window sticker,
side marker lights are required by law.

In North America, amber front and red rear sidemarker lamps and retro-reflectors are required. The law initially required lights or retroreflectors on vehicles made after 1 January 1968. This was amended to require lights and retroreflectors on vehicles made after 1 January 1970.

Sorry Will, but when we ordered our 2002 Whisper White in Mississippi, USA, the supplemental lights (not "fog lights" ) on front of the car were optional, free of charge. We did have a say in the matter. Yes or No. We said Yes.

After a drought of no sightings for a while, saw two yesterday. A bronze going the other way on Kinderkamack Rd. in Closter, and a T-Bird blue on Delong Ave. in Dumont. Actually saw the blue twice, once going the other way to pick up the grandkids from daycamp and vice-versa on the way home. Both had tops down, beautiful day. Had the Expedition, so no recognition but gave both a thumbs up anyway.

Spotted an interesting one at work. Custom paint job not sure of the year. My boyfriend spoke to the owner, color is called Bentley Blue. Didn't get the year. Was told the car belongs to her family and she is just driving it while hers is in the shop. According to my boyfriend she said she likes the car OK but isn't a real appreciator of Thunderbirds. New this had to be the case when I saw it wedged into a compact space in the garage. Made me sick to see this beauty wedged between to SUV's.

Well luck has struck again at Ceresco Nebrsaska Show & Shine on Friday July 10 I saw a blue 02 I have seen that same one now many times. Then next day on July 11 I saw another 03 TBird light blue owner Larry Taylor. I have photos of Larry's bird at my photo gallery. Here are couple more one was taken at July 11th Ceresco Car show I got a GOLD , then we went to Lincoln Buzzards Billy's at Hyamarket LIncon NE we talked bird and had couple drinks and then went to a wine store for some samples great time was had.
