  • Wow! My First Mint Green Sighting! Re: 2009 T-Bird sightings

Was at Smithville, NJ today and saw a mint green with black top. Drove around it twice just because I'd never seen one before... plus there was 2 ladies inside it I wanted to talk to.

However, I quick nudge from my wife and harrassment from my teenager soon put an end to any conversation with them.

Was unable to see if it was a club member or even if the black seats had the white options.

Wow... a striking color! Gets your blood pumping!

          Hotty Toddy.

Watched the game on TV today. During the game they had a shot of the front of the SUN Recording Studio where Elvis stated recording. Parked in the street was a '55, '56' or '57 (I don't know how to tell the difference real quick) baby bird.

There's commercial running for the LG enVtouch cell phone that has a brief shot of a 56 or 57 at the start of it. Mint green (it couldn't be 'vintage' that year) w/white top if I recall.

Must be careful how I answer that question... or the nudge to the ribs yesterday could turn into a more serious issue tomorrow!

Still... anytime you see 2 women in a T-Bird AND they're NOT driving off a cliff... I am interested!!!!

Saw that one Ski. They used diecast models to produce that commericial - very neat job but it went by so quick, it was hard to tell the year or manufacturer of the model but I think it was a 55. .
It's saved on our recorder if I can ever figure out how to copy them to a dvd or tape.

It's a 55 diecast after reviewing the recording.

Good eye, Dot. That thing is on for one or two seconds at the most. It adds a whole new dimension to the term 'fleeting'!

Margaret and I were on our way to her knee re-hab session this morning when we spotted a black bird (the slowest of all retro birds). It was sitting in a used car lot. In big white info on the windshield, it said " 2002 - $16,999". Since we didn't stop by, we have no idea what the mileage is. Appears that the value keeps going down.

It was a Black one, what would you expect.
Wait a few weeks and they will pay you to take it off their lot!

Yesterday, two within five minutes of each other! A little rare around here. '02 EB with white hardtop southbound on 301 in LaPlata and an '03/'04 triple black soft top up leaving the court house parking lot. I was in the "company car" so I didn't wave.

I needed both hands to pick my chin up off the floor. Doesn't a newer member here have one?
