Cold Weather Sighting ! Yesterday morning it was 15 degrees. We had 3 inches of snow in the morning. In the afternoon on a side street in Dumont saw a DSB covered in road salt parked on the icy road. Yikes!

I really couldn't tell, Dot. Traffic was thick, he was cruising fast, and sunlight wasn't great that late in the afternoon, but it looked very similar to the little keychain I have (pictured below), except it had sand accent.

My daughter's boyfriend just e-mailed me a picture of a Retrobird taking on the harsh, Canadian winter (parking lot in a local Mall in Ottawa, Canada). Just glad I didn't physically SEE this Red Bird, otherwise I would have got out my cleaning kit and leaf blower to clean her up !!!

I was on Hwy 522 West out of Monroe on the bike and saw a red bird in my mirror, it stayed there for a good deal of my trip back home from a memorial service, lost track of it somewhere on 405 South. I have been seeing a lot more then usual of late, I wonder if they are the lease cars that have hit the market?

I was on my way to work in Austin,Texas this morning and spotted an IY bird (with hard top) identical to mine at the traffic light at Ben White and Montopolis. I pulled up beside it and rolled down the window. The lady driving it saw me also and we spoke briefly. It turns out it also has the full accent package. I mentioned TBN to her and she said she would check it out. Some kind of coincidence having two IY birds side by side at a traffic light.

We drove our REDBIRD to Houston today . Great traveling, but only one Bird in 400 miles. Austin to Gulf freeway and back. One white ( dirty) bird passing near Smithville Texas on Tx 71 east.

I was on travel in San Jose, Ca. At the gas station filling up my rental car, there was Blue 02 with White hdtp. Great personalized plate LATNBRD. The owner was Latino and had owned her T-Bird since new. I told her about the nest.

Yesterday in S.Fl. (T-Bird capitol I think )MSG, TBB, IY,Red .Funny part they are so common down here if you wave they just look at you.

Morning all,

OK,driving to work this morning I decided to cut through downtown Dalton for a change and what did I see? A mirror version of our black retro.

I was driving slowly down the high street and this one was parked at lights waiting to pull out. It looked just like the one I was in except the wheels were different. I waved as I drove past but because of the light on their windows I never saw the driver.

I will try that same route more often and see if I can spot the same car again.

I have been seeing more retros around this area but that is the first black one I've seen other than our own.

Omaha, NE 'bout a week ago. I saw a White Retro on South 90th ST.
I see this guy a couple times a week in the summer, we wave. But I
was surprised to see him out skating around in 4" of snow and ice.
Bummer.
