Saw two tbirds today.

1. Red near Lake Mead headed toward Las Vegas.

2. Arrived at the hotel at the Grand Canyon and there is a Merlot/Sand from Washington State in the parking lot. I brought some handout cards with me. I just have to find them.

Jeff and I are hoping to cross paths with the owners tomorrow. We venture into Grand Canyon National Park in the morning.

Page 2 of the Winter 2009 "My Ford" magazine shows partial photo of an '04 Merlot with a short story by the owner. Tag says THANX 4D. Not sure if he is a member.

The letter writer in the mag is a retired Ford employee. The pic shows a small piece of his matching trailer.

Spotted a red/hard top yesterday around 4:30 near mile marker 102 in Oklahoma on I-40 East with dealer plates.

Charley talked to a lady in her LIB yesterday while gassing up. He gave her one of my cards and she seemed interested. He also saw what he said appeared to be VMG but he's quite sure it was extremely metallic, so maybe it was a custom paint job?

Went to the W.Palm Beach Antique show today VMG /with black softop in the parking lot.Inside I had my T-Bird hat on and one of the dealers told me he and his wife had a yellow '02.Gave him the site and he said he would check us out.

George (0bird2) went to Wichita Kansas Thursday and Friday for a swapmeet. Spotted a cashmere in the parking lot at the meet.

Saw our first Cashmere here in Madison today. It was parked at the drug store. No handout cards with us. Gotta jack Margaret up to make some here at the house. Economy won't let us spend the money to buy some.

When Sue and I were down to Madison over the weekend of January 24th, we looked to see if we saw you two out and about in your Bird (our friends told me they thought they have seen you several times in your Bird). We did see a Torch Red Bird in Madison that weekend, however.

Elle, referring back to your last post. That color sounds very like a color described by a guy I used to work with. He insists he saw a very shiny metallic lime green colored bird. He was sure it was a bird because it had the portholes. We are up in north Georgia so it's unlikely to be the same one.

Maybe that custom shop out in California customized a limited number in that custom color? Just a thought.

Unusual, saw two on Friday during my commute home, an IY with what appeared to be NC plate INSPRTN or something similar. Then later saw a MSG, no read on the tag.

Elle, referring back to your last post. That color sounds very like a color described by a guy I used to work with. He insists he saw a very shiny metallic lime green colored bird. He was sure it was a bird because it had the portholes. We are up in north Georgia so it's unlikely to be the same one.

I saw that metallic lime color on a Bird here in Dallas a few months ago! We were in freeway traffic, so I didn't even try to get the driver's attention.

Erik is at MD Anderson in Houston for testing today and tomorrow. He was doing laps in the parking garage and saw a Red Bird. As soon as he found a parking space he called and asked if I was in Houston, or Dallas!
