Yes, I do NEED to get a camera...but it's so difficult to talk on the cell, apply lipstick and drive safe...now you want me to take pictures too??

No, I'm certain it wasn't VMG...I'm almost as certain that you were the person I was on the cell with! You and I decided the Lime Bird had been re-painted with that new Mustang color

Saw a blue thunderbird Saturday with top down going to Raleigh NC on 40 just before the 95 past him on my PCR Going way to slow for me lol. Then at work Monday today 2/9/09 I saw a nice bright yellow with black top on Ash St. In Goldsboro. Then one of my customers has a bight red one as well. There is also a white, gray, blue and black one in Goldsboro, NC I've seen

Pulled in the parking lot at Office Max at Janaf today (in Goldi) and a lady in an EB was just backing out. I ran up to her and got a card out quicky. She said she & her husband had often wondered why there wasn't a Thunderbird club! I said, "Oh, but there is!" So now she has the info...and I'm hoping she'll contact me about the Tidewater Chapter as well as joining in here.

Friday Feb 13 saw an 02 blue on South Street in Morristown - didn't acknowledge my wave as I was on my way to work in little red - a dry, cold day in northern NJ so I took the opportunity to drive her. Maybe a few more clear days before the white stuff reappears.

Charley saw a Bond Bird Friday at the corner of Haygood & Independence in VB. A rare sight, indeed, for around here.

                Re: 2009 T-Bird sightings

Some great sightings today - spent some time in Sam Pack's warehouse in Carrolton - 5 Retros - 3 02s (yellow, black, blue) and 1 007 (03 for those who don't know) and 1 black 04. But that wasn't all - platinum grey (not sure of color name - titanium?) Ford GT, and FOUR Shelby 500KRs. Not to mention all the different years of thunderbirds, Fords, Mercurys, Lincolns, and even a room full of 57 Chevy's - more convertibles than hardtops.

Just caught the end of a "Valero" gasoline commercial. It featured a '57 (I think) in torquoise at the close of the ad.

We almost (a-l-m-o-s-t) bought a Vapor GT w/ black stripes last month, but the Shelby & the T-Birds voted NO!

I didn't see it but the owner of the body shop I went to today has a '55. I gave him at TBN card.

I saw a yellow TB in Stafford VA. I pulled up to and passed the slow moving bird. the tag was "ELVIS PZ". That is the first one I've seen Stafford Va besides mine. I see a ton of them in Alexandria Va near my job location. Red/white(ol bird) and a turquios sitting(?) on the side streets of Alexandria.

We changed our tag to "LUVRBRD" not lover bird, but love our bird

This morning, heading south on US 75 in Texasbird, saw a Merlot with it's soft top up, heading the opposite direction. Doubt that they saw me wave.

Yesterday I parked nose to nose with a red t-bird in the parking lot at Macy's at Landmark shopping center in Alexandria -- the license said BABJR -- is that anyone's in the Nest???
I have seen so many Thunderbird Blue t-birds in Alexandria -- wish we could all get together somewhere for a picture -- there's even one exactly like mine in my condo garage.

                                Dot,

You keep teasing us about Sam Pack's private collection. THAT's where we need to host an outing!!! Now, if I knew him as well as an unnamed member of this site, I would try to work on that. (Hint Hint)
