When I first got my Bird, the dealer said an identical one to mine came in on the same truck, and the lady who bought it was having it shipped to New York to be painted PEACH to match a 50's model she already had. The kicker...it was the cashmere 50th anniversary limited edition!!

It's not nice to make Miss Elle hyperventilate!

Elle, so far no one seems to have spotted a peach (might have been coral sand) retro so it may not have happened.

Besides Texasbird being driven to work Friday afternoon, later in the evening, a medium steel blue showed up and spent the night beside one of our student housing complexes. It had Texas Plates, was loaded with clothes (possibly going to or returning from Spring Break), and sported a Midwestern State University Mustangs (Wichita Falls, TX) window decal. The sticker makes me think it is a friend or family member of one of our students who stayed the night on their way to their school.

My Officers kept close watch on it all night (actually I think it is so they could drool over it.), like they do when I take mine to work.

I have seen 6 TBirds in my area in the last month driving on the road. 2 Black-2 Red-1 Blue,1 White. I wave and they don't even notice, or respond to me in my Yellow one. Whats up with that.

Red w/blk int & red accents parked next to me at Harrah's 7 Star parking in St. Lou yesterday. By the time I went inside to get a piece of paper to leave a note, they were gone. Missouri vanity plates and the coolest Ford rims. I am so jealous. :)

Saw a blue 02 with the top down going in the opposite direction of me yesterday in traffic...also saw a PCR with the top up on the way to work this morning. Waved at both...no wave back!

Saw a 2002 Thunderbird Blue with skirts Black S/T on Samples Rd. Coconut Creek/Margate area. Ohhhh wait that was Claude, I was waiting to make a left turn .Just finished looking at an '05 at a dealer for member Ted Gowder from Tn.

How about some RED sightings - Last week spotted one in parking lot in front of stores in the Keller - North Richland Hills area. Also spotted one on the road on 114 heading east.

Then today, spotted one at the restaurant we were eating at - lo and behold - it was a friend's and they were eating with us. Then on the way home spotted another heading north to Oklahoma - rather dirty so must have been on a business trip. He passed us with nary a look but I GOT PHOTOS!

My wife and I saw a black bird at the Duty Free Shop at Fort Erie, Ontario on our trip to Ohio a few weeks ago. We went to visit friends in Columbus Grove and pick up my new stainless luggage rack along with a bunch of 1/18 die cast Retro Birds I bought on e-bay and had shipped to Ohio to save on shipping, duty and taxes if they had been shipped to Canada.
Saved enough $ to pay for the trip and getting to see old friends to boot!
I saw a yellow 02 on a used car lot in Mississauga, Ontario it look super clean. I didn't have time to stop, but will check it out next time I am in the area.

Why not just buy it Gord and let the wife drive it to the Ottawa event. We need a yellow one to off-set all those black cars.

Followed a 2004 Merlot with hard top on Golden Valley Road (Golden Valley, MN) near the Golden Valley Country Club. Car was not the cleanest but we had heavy rains yesterday and a dusting of snow this morning.

At 5:45 PM we were in downtown Houston on the HOV overpass to I-10 W and I saw a 2003 Desert Sky Blue w/black vert top up coming toward us headed into downtown. The only one I've ever seen is on Dot's site. That's kind of like a Bigfoot sighting isn't it?
