If you look on autotrader.com and other places, the 2002 my seems to be the most popular.

Johnny TBird, If the original owner is selling it with all the original paper work and maintanance records, that would be a plus. Make sure all the components that go with the car are there like hard top rack, cover, tool, and convertible boot. Check the soft tops condition and operation. It may be if the owner extended the warranty that it might still be covered, that would be a big plus. Try to get them to tell you what they want and go from there. Be armed with paperwork showing what 02 TBs are going for on Ebay and other appaisals. With only 8K miles this sounds like a real nice car. My thoughts are 12K to13K the way the economy is now. If I had a 02 with 8k miles on it. I wouldn't sale it for 12k or 13k I dont care what the economy is. The question should be how much does he think its worth (buyer)and willing to pay for it. Have him do his home work and make a fair bid on it. but if it was mine and he offered only 13k for it. I tell him in a nice way @#$% off.

You sure couldn't buy my 2002 Whisper White for $12 - $13 - she's priceless. Plus, she's got too many wonderful accessories!

I agree though, if you can get one for that price - grab it. The car is a head turner. What color interior does it have? That makes a difference on how many were made. I believe I recall, from QuickDraw's numbers, the combo like I have with the full accent red/black, there were only a little over 700 made.
