  • Looking for a part number for a chrome trim piece

The chrome trim piece that surrounds the cupholders in the console was missing when I bought the car. Would anybody here on the Nest be able to tell me the part number, cost, and a good source for this piece? Sure would appreciate it. Gotta get that fixed!

    Thanks,
    bobby

The part no. is 1W6Z,76045G34,AA. I have an old crash book. At that time (April 2004)these inserts were $6.28 each.
According to my book the console mat is 1W6Z,76045G34,AB at $7.07

Thanks...I called Team Ford as well, but they quoted me a price for the entire console assembly (around $500). Seemed a bit more than I wanted to spend.

Thanks! I'll call my local dealership and see if they can get it.

According to the local dealership, that part number is the mat that fits into the cup holder, rather than the chrome trim. They also said I can only get that piece by buying the entire console....also around $560.00. Wow. They suggested I find a wrecked bird and get it off of that. Probably very little chance of that, I'm betting.

I'm also trying to find something. I have a 2005 Anniversary Edition. Since I live in Texas I'm supposed to have a front license plate. My car does not have a license plate frame on the front. It apparently came from a state not requiring one. Does anyone have a car with the front license frame on it? If so, I'd really like to see a picture and also find out if the part is available. The front bumper is sort of pointed in the middle, so I can't see how a regular flat frame would fit. Thanks for any info. Nevada 33

I bought one on ebay less then $30. delivered. Factory Ford fits great comes only in black, I'd paint it if I had another color. Looks OK, but, kets face it, it's really ugly to have a front liscence plate on these cars. Almost makes me want to move, it's that ugly ... Put it on your car and never look at the front end again ...

If your car doesn't have the mounting holes, I wouldn't get the front bracket. I'm down here on the Gulf coast, and haven't been denied an inspection sticker since I bought the car, took the front bracket off and had the holes filled in and painted.
