  • Anyone Have a Spare Diver's Door Panel Aluminum Trim?

I'm trying to locate a replacement aluminum panel for the driver's door panel on an '02. I seem to remember some of our members buying these in quantity back in the day when they were cheap.

    They ain't cheap anymore!!!

Sounds like many of us could use these as my drivers side is in need of replacement as well.

Mine is so pocked up -- I don't understand how it happens, I am very careful with the seat belt and getting in and out -- I was shocked when I first found them. I still don't know how they got there.

Mine is exactly the same, small dents on the rear of the panel. . . I assumed it was the former owner being careless with the seatbelt. If it's not the seatbelt, I wonder what it could be??? I'll have to look more closely into this as I don't want a repeat if I replace it. Is this a 2002 only thing?

                          Low production number cars.

Fun to own.........expensive to fix or restore.

You just know if there were as many T-Birds rolling around as there are Mustangs or even Corvettes...........the part would be manufactured in the aftermarket by competing suppliers......... you'd probably get all of the pieces, both doors and the dash for that price.

Exclusivity has a price I guess.

Be happy to find it.When I had to buy the passenger seat bottom for my Merlot with sand interior at $277.06 i was glad to find it.Bought the drivers side also.Supply is growing smaller as there aren't to many after markets.

This is very true Ed. My parts guy tells me that he can no longer get things like the accented seat covers, steering wheels and the such.
