'57 (I think) on Grey's Anatomy

Watched the "Stand by Me", March 19, episode of Grey's Anatomy this morning. There is a powder blue thunderbird on screen for a few seconds. I think with my limited knowledge of the older models it's a 57.

If I get a chance, I'll check to see if the episode is on abc.com

It had a hard-top porthole so I think it was definately a 57...had to belong to the other doc...the camper scenes have been pretty frequent and I've never seen a TBird before...Shephard's not cool enough anyway...now Izzy would be my choice! or maybe his ex - Addison?

It belongs to the other Doc, not Shepherd or Torres. Shepherd has a Land Rover, and I think Torres has a Cherokee. Addison has a Porsche, 50's vintage, maybe a 356?

I know Izzy and Addison were not in the scene but they would definately look good in a 57 T Bird...I think it was Torres.

I saved the episode and reviewed the car's first appearance. Torres is walking away from the car. Derek's LandRover is in the background. When Owen Hunt arrives three vehicles are parked in the drive. LandRover, '57 T-bird and a Dodge full size truck.

Callie Torres is the character with the T-bird. Lucky girl!

Thanks for clearing that up Rhonda, I just couldn't imagine Owen Hunt with that car, it just doesn't fit his role.

57's do not have continental kits. thats a 56. look for wing windows and those were are the 56, 57. Portholes were on 56, and 57's and have been installed on many 55's. My 57 was actually a porthole delete model.

I also saw it and was going to post here. I agree of the 3 had to be Callie's car, I was very excited even rewound the TIVO several times to see it again!

Yes, definitely a light blue '57 if it's the one in Season 5, Episode 18 at first about 7:30. The front fender has the spear with the Thunderbird script in front. The '55s and '56s had the script on the rear fenders.
