Ever heard of the old saying "If Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy"? Pick out another color T-bird and go for it - the PCR will never be worth the grief. I'd suggest Torch Red as everyone knows they are the fastest and she would never be able to catch you in her PCR.

By the way, you just missed a nice gathering of T-birds in Hot Springs last weekend. We could have had some real fun discussing your dilemma there and you could have taken a good look at some other color birds. One of the members that was there, cbarnes, has a nice Merlot for sale.

Welcome to the nest and good luck!

heck, I'd pick out a color that at least looked good sitting next to a PCR. Try looking at black with sand interior - not common but was available in the 05s and 04s - and very sharp.

      btw - welcome to TBN

That's what those who own them have deluded themselves to think. In reality the Mountain Shadow Grey ones are far and away the best looking.

You started out looking at the Black, Merlot and Bronze which appealed to you or you wouldn't have looked at them. As far as the Most Desirable goes that depends on the person buying. Whatever makes you happy would be your most desirable. So as far as Color goes there are several combinations out there so get the one you like and admire the rest.

Black's faster - especially when equipped with a high performance trunk mat. Good luck and welcome to the nest.

Aren't you sort of limited by availability and price? If the price is right and the car has low mileage and is in great shape I say just buy it because another one might not come around for a while...actually, I like all the colors...they are all awesome in their own way.

Kevin - we share the same last name, so tell her you spoke with another relative (ha-ha) who owns T-Birds, and you should get the one you want! Heck, we have a Torch Red Shelby, and looked at yet another one yesterday for me, tho a hardtop this time. Decided not to get it, but if we had, they would have matched! You should drive what you want!

And, if you lean to Special Editions, Why not join the HMS 007 group as in Bond, James Bond and have a nice coral colour with a production number of only 700. May even make the wife a bit jealous as all her friends come over to drool over your car.
