JUST TOOK A TOP DOWN DRIVE FROM MY HOME IN BEDFORD, TX. TO MY DAUGHTER'S HOME IN SOUTH FORT WORTH, TX. (35 MILES) AND SAW TWO OTHER TBIRDS - ONE YELLOW WITH BLACK TOP AND ONE SOLID BLACK...BOTH HAD THEIR TOPS UP.

A couple of days ago, the temp got up to 60 and I took a top down cruise. Woke up this morning to about 4 inches of the white stuff. Like Mike said in the first post, gotta love Illinois weather!

My wife and I are heading to Tulsa on Tuesday to watch The Boss in concert. Looking forward to the drive - may be a bit chilly but the sun will be out so the top will be down (at least some)!

Yes Ray, as a reprise to my first post, NOT top-down weather today in Frankfort! Woke up to 4 - 6" of the white stuff, AGAIN!!

Today is the home opener of the White Sox; wonder if they'll play?

Not Yet.
Four inches of snow so far this morning, with 5 to 10" forcast.
Had my first game of golf Thursday, , rained Friday, 2" of snow Sat., melted Sun. and there was a lot of new green showing in the grass. I'm getting anxious.
But alas, until the ground dries up I can't even get Bird out of storage.:flames:
Looking at the long range forcast, probably be another two weeks before I can get it out and there is less than 5 weeks before the Ottawa gathering.
The :sun: is coming.

Just saw on the Weather Channel that there's a chance for snow here tomorrow! The good news is that it's supposed to be in the upper 70s by Friday.

We broke all kind of records in CA today!! It was 96 here in Fresno, 100 in LA and 85 in San Francisco!!! IT IS HOT!!!:flames:

Well, finally!!! It was between 75-80 degrees in Chicago yesterday so I raced home from the university to get the hard top off before sundown (took an earlier train). I made it and was all ready to cruise today in the warm weather; yeah!!

Me too, finally took the top off yesterday with weather in the 70's. Today it is supposed to be in 80's and set a record tomorrow at a forecasted 86 degrees with lots of sun. April was a month of rain with weather in 40's and 50's and lots of rain. This morning I broke out the summer clothes and I am writing this in shorts and a t-shirt, first time since last September. So you know I am cruising with top down today and tomorrow.

My son is coming tomorrow to install the roof lift in my garage. The weather is supposted to be warm about all week. I'll be going to a conference in Cambridge MD on Wednesday thru Friday and hope to have top down weather for the drive, about 2 hours.

It was cold and raining here today. I spent the day watching my niece in a rodeo - froze my hinney off.

I just keep thinking .....only one more month till I fly out to get my tbird. By that time the weather will be great & I will have my baby.

Hardtop off and top down for a 200 mi cruise on saturday,it was in the high 80's....and sunday is going to be in the high 80's to ...YES Looks like a cruise today to....

Roof lift installed and top is off. It was sunny and 90+degrees today. All is right with the world.

I'll be posting pics of the roof lift install soon.
