I have a 2005 t-bird whose wrench light came on with only 4000 miles on the car.took it to the dealer and they said they couldn't find anything wrong.brought the car to Fla. and the light came on again.I took it to the dealer and they said I needed I neededd a new throttle body at a cost of $785.the car only has 5800 miles on it and it is hard to believe that a failure of this nature iis normal.I can't help feelin that I have been ripped offf and the part was probably repaired and I was charged for new.I didn't get extended warranty because the car had such low mileage.

Re: hot rod
I would get with the dealer and pressure them on getting some Policy help. It is a well hidden secret in Ford, but they can get up to either $500.00 or a $1000.00 Policy on cars less that 5 years old & less than 50,000 miles. At only 5,800 miles I think yours would be a good canidate for Policy consideration. Wish I could remember the $ figure. But either or would help.02 Bird yelo/yelo full accent
