  • Midnight Blue Hardtop - Opinions?

I'm thinking about buying another hardtop and having it painted a non-standard color for my Medium Steel Blue. I think either a Cobalt or Midnight Blue would look good with it. Any opinions?

    thanks,

I think the midnight blue or a navy blue would look great. Wish the convertible top was a navy blue instead of the color it is.

Agree. I like the fact that it's not the standard soft top colors, but I wish it were a bit darker blue.

Got white already, in addition to the stock MSB one....silver would be cool, too. I plan on getting a black one and a silver one eventually. But I also wanted something a bit unusual as well, so I thought a dark blue would look fine.

I think dark blue would be awesome. Is MSB a metallic color? If so, would you have the top painted a metallic dark blue?

There is a NE member who has a Silver metallic hardtop on Medium Steel Blue Thunderbird and it looks terrific.

The blue that they were going to use on the 06s would look great - it's probably very similar to midnight blue - it's tbird name was Dark Blue Pearl

The 2003 Mustang True Blue Met (paint code L2) might look good.

Dark blue would look absolutely awesome on your hardtop with your car!!! Here's an idea. Tell them to get MSB paint and mix metallic black into the MSB paint to darken it. Then the darker shade will match your car perfectly!

I agree...a dark blue (metalic) would look awesome, but why so many hart tops, Bobby?
Do you actually use them in that beautiful southern weather or is it just that you just like collecting them? I can understand the point of having many options - it's cool. Up here, however, we can't wait to take them off. - Jerry
