        Right. Texas DOT wouldn't let me have PCR 723. So I had to be a little creative.

                Likewise, I knew good ole Texas would not let you group the letters together, then the numbers, regardless of where you put them (PCR-723 or 723-PCR).

                    What's the car in the stall to the left of the T-Bird? Looks like an older (possibly 1950's) Buick or Olds.

                      Good eye, James. That is my 1957 Buick Roadmaster 75 in the garage next to the PCR. It's a 4 door hardtop.

                        I love it! All I could come up with was 658-1K (MO doesn't have a slash to put on a plate).
                        Why can't you do 3 letters and 3 numbers in Texas? I wonder if that's the case in any other state? Maybe because it looks so much like a regular plate??
