  • High Preformance?

E-Bay is offering a "Preformance Chip" for the Thunderbird Engine with unbelivable claims. Does anybody know about this product? They are upfront with the Q&A section as to it voiding ford warranty! Just curious like most of us we would all like a little more power.
Also can anyone tell me the best/cheapest place to buy Borelo System for a 2005 T-Bird? I have an excellent shop to do te install.
Any and all help will be gratefully Appreciated! ! ! !
    Sincerely,

    Ted Gowder

We don't know of any chip that can be replaced on the tbird's computer - even the experts have to reprogram the computer to give any enhancements to it. You might want to read this thread:

Ted -- The Borlas are an easy install if you are the least bit mechanically inclined. If you have a creeper, a set of wrenches, ramps, and a 2X4 you are in business. Oh and the most important part -- a case of beer.

Julie can definitely help you out, Ted. You'll love the Borla system.

Oh, another one of those pm's where you tell owners to cut the resinators off their car instead of buying Borla's?

I'm confused..... Is that a wife, babes on the side (although I think you meant wenches), a ramp I can imagine a use, but its the 2x4 that throws me off... sounds kinky.....

The 2X4 is the special tool needed to get the old exhausts off the hangers. And don't read anything sleezy into the word hangers.

Borla Babe, That's why I sent a PM. I didn't want to upset the Borla Club Members, but I guess just the thought of telling anyone what changes that have been made to my exhaust system was too much. I am just trying to save any members the expence of the Borla Exhuast system with a simple modification that I think is as good or better than the Borla system. Sorry if I've offended anyone. Leroy

It was Great of him to send me all the pics and info he passed along.
(very happy with the sound not to loud just right.)

                          Re: High Preformance?

Back when there was an event at ThunderIsle, a member (don't remember his name) from Florida in a Black Bird showed up. He had done several mods to his car. One was to put little plaques on his fenders about where the V8 emblems where. These plaques said "Police Interceptor". When he cranked his car up it sounded like it had the engine of a police interceptor, nice and pure. This sound was the result of him cutting the resinaters off.

Anybody remember who this member was?

Gee Leroy, I'm sorry that you are not allowed to post about the secret system that shows how you have modified your Birds exhast. If you pm me the "stuff" I promise if I make the modification I will tell everyone it is a Borla and cost $2500 because it also has "special custom exhaust tips" Will that be all right with everyone?

I recall the car, Charlie, but may have been at Lake Lanier? a bit louder than the borlas as I remember. but I don't remember the police interceptor tags on his car. maybe I have a good picture of his car?
