Late Friday night they auctioned off a 69 Camaro RS for the vets it sold to a former vet for the sum of $500,000.There was no commission on this and a great cause.The buy said it was time to give back.

Maybe the buyer who bought the '03 with 4 miles thought it was a new car. Mine too had 4 miles on it when I bought it new, and I paid $8,000 more for mine. We're a long way from 4 miles now, approaching 84,000 miles.

autotrader.com has 807 retros...starting with an 04 delux w/32k for $122,993.00 (missprint???) to a an 03 for $9600...one of our guys has his listed ....02 red...29k miles, 80 spoke daytons, diampnd back whitewalls, borla exhaust, custom white soft top, custom white boot, red and white custom door panels....other custom stuff....have seen photos of this bird on TBN....car is in TX.....asking 35k....I was wondering where the crazies come from

After the BJ auction, I happened to catch a repeat of the Mecum 2008 spring auto auction.

It's hard to judge, since every car is different, but prices for most cars seems to have dropped steeply for 2009.

On the Mecum show, they were selling (sold) the 1964 and a half Mustang pace car for the Indy 500. Since the car had to do 140 mph to be the pace car, Ford had replaced the factory motor with an engine from a GT 40.

They also sold a 1964 Galaxie with a jet engine modification. I missed the whole segment, but it looked like it had a V8 up front and some type of rocket propulsion in the rear. Total of 833 HP.
