I owned three tire franchises in FL and would see belt slippage in radial tires that had direction of travel changed on a daily basis. That's fact not myth.

Bill: tracking number already shows it going to destination country . You could have it by Tuesday or Wednesday at latest . Good thing it left here as Monday is a Holiday ( Thanksgiving weekend . Much earlier than your Thanksgiving )

In all my many years of driving I never had to use the spares I drug around. Then, 1 1/2 hours into the ownership of my recent SRT-6, my first car without one, my first blow out on a ninety degree plus day in the country with no cell coverage.

Three hours later a Ohio highway patrolperson invites me into his air conditioned unmarked patrol car while he calls an expensive flatbed wrecker (which it turns out my car cannot be hauled up on without potential damage so a second wrecker with dollies is called) and I explain why my new to me Indiana car has a Tennessee tag registered to a Volvo wagon and he explains the number of violations my blacked out black on black car could be cited for.

The little town it is towed to has one tire shop with no tires to fit. I have to order one and have it shipped overnight while I stay in an expensive motel and dine on cheap roadside food awaiting its delivery.

Any car I own is going to have a spare.

I have to agree with this. Told to disregard the direction of travel in rotating one of the four sets of tires I had on my last Volvo I got 10,000 on a set of radials when normally I would expect at least 30K or more.
