"New e-bay"

I liked the old e-bay parts.I clicked Ford-Thunderbird-02-05 and found 250+ parts.Now with the "new" e-bay I do the same and come up with 30 parts.
Has anyone figured it out yet.I wrote them no reply so far and don't expect one.

Ed, I just put in Ford thunderbird 02 05 -- and came up with 223 results - for ebay in general
then went to ebay motors > cars and parts and did the same search:
325 matches found for: ford thunderbird 02 05

then used your search words:
28 matches found for: ford-thunderbird-02-05

The difference is the "-" that you're using between the words and years

If you look at the auction titles that you pulled up, only those that have the phrase 02-05 are showing. Remove the dash and you'll pull up a lot more.

Your searches need to be creative, to find hidden listings. Some years back I wanted an acoustic electric guitar, so I could lead youth praise & worship sessions in the absence of a Youth Minister at our church.

Searching "acoustic electric guitar" brought up a fair number of listings. Searching only "acoustic electric" brought up some they forgot to place the word "Guitar" on. Bought one like what was selling for over $200.00 for $75.00 because no one else found the listing.

You may also try intentionally misspelling words to see what listings come up. You'll be surprised.

I really haven't seen anything "new and improved" lately but have noticed that a lot of the "garbage" is getting cut out of the searches I do - but I've noticed that for the last year or so. The ones that iritate though are the sellers that list the same product multiple times -- constantly. why don't they just list that they have multiple items available in one or two auctions and quit wasting my search efforts.
