Someone must have hooked or tried to remove the Thunderbird script from the side .They broke off the D .So were do I locate a new set anyone with a lead.I tried e-bay but with there new and improved parts section I only have 30 hits for parts.

Thunderbirdconcepts.com I bought several from them, just to have spares on hand, open the exterior emblems link and you will find them

Looked at Thunderbirdconcepts web site and could not find the script emblem. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot.

Ediron, The Ford part no. is 1W6Z-76517A20-AA. or if you go to ( direct fordparts.com ) and select your year and Ford and Thunderbird. then select body parts, quarter panel, exterior trim, emblems. About $18.00 plus shipping. Leroy
