Hood Scoop Slats Can They Be Chromed?

I'm thinking of chroming the raised slats inside the hood scoop.

Anyone ever do this?

What did you use? The chrome door edge stick on material or.......?

Ditto on this Mike. Dino did it for a number of us. We would order the chrome hood scoop and at the next gathering Dino would put the scoop on and do up the slats for us at the same time.

I use the 1/8" 3M tape backed chrome trim, and it looks great when completed. I'll post a picture and details for you tonight.

Thanks I looked at your gallery photos only saw one photo that show a wee bit of the hood scoop nothing with any clarity, but what I could see I liked.

I chromed the raised slats in the hood scoop AND also added one chrome ring on the taillights.
