Tbird on 24???

I'm out of my element here, but maybe some TBN'ers who are also "24" fans would know. A friend at work stopped by my office this morning and said he thought of me this weekend while watching a segment of the 2nd season of "24." He said the "head terrorist" guy was driving a red T-bird.

This seems like bad casting to me for at least two reasons: (1) Only good guys should be cast driving T-birds. (2) It would seem a terrorist might try to keep a lower profile than driving a torch red T-bird convertible.

Yes, it's true... a red Bird was in season 2 for a very brief time.

I think it's quite clever to pick a red T-Bird.
That car is so inconspicuous...I hardly ever notice one

Ford has had pretty good product placemernt on this show, even when other car companies were key advertisers. I think the year that the subject red retro Bird was featured included a commerrcial free season premier sponsored by Ford with major commercials only at the beginning and end of the show.

On a recent telecast of My Classic Car, Dennis Gage, the host was shown connecting a battery tender to the battery of a beautiful blue 02 retro bird. He mentioned it was his personal bird. He has been known to have great taste in cars, but I now think he has unbelievable taste in cars.
