I had a wal mart cart hit my car and scratched it.>( went into store found some silver finger nail polished and fixed the scratch for the time being.......inovative.?
I have the scratch cover paint in the Bronze (from my dealer), but honestly, I know me....I won't be satisfied....I'm going to bring it to Elle's and have it assessed by my fellow bird lovers! They'll know what to do when they see it....who knew I would be this obsessed????
CatBrd2 is the new license tag! Meowgal was moved to the Prius.
Yes, it is 'bound to happen'. It just happened to me. My son's sports equipment rack 'jumped out' as I was pulling the Bird into the garage and scratched the front fender and bumper not to mention breaking the front turn signal lens. At least that's my story.
All is repaired and I'm back on the road but it's embarrasing - so much so I couldn't bring myself to admit it.
Now my truck in in the body shop having some cosmetic work done. I was thinking of getting it cleaned up and selling it by why do that for someone else, so I'm keeping it. "Better the devil you know" is how I feel about it. Besides I haven't found anthing out there that appeals to me.

One year ago last weekend (I had been at the Edmonton Indy - on my way home) my wife opened the garage door and my beloved springer spaniel thought she could jump into the back of my truck. Unfortunately it was the trunk of the Tbird!!!!. Panic ensued - oldest kid calmed her down and had her bring the Tbird to his place so he could see what he could do. Between the two of them they minimized the scatches so that when I arrived home it was not as bad. I have an awesome family and even though there were scratches I handled it really well I think. A couple days worth of polishing and they are hardly visible. Bottom line -stuff happens!!!!
