A control module is required for the steering wheel controls to work with both the JVC KW-NT1 that I had installed and the Kenwood units I considered buying. The control module is listed at 69.99 on my invoice.

My controls on the steering wheel work fine. The exception is the mute button, which really was only needed to mute the stereo when getting a phone call. Since the bluetooth is played throught the stereo anyway, it mutes itself when a phone call comes in. A special adaper cable is needed to connect the steering wheel controls to the stereo.

Sandra and I are new to the Annapolis, MD area (need to change our avatar). Can anyone recommend a good place to get one of these systems installed? We are liking the JVC KW-NT1.

        thanx for the info.

Mickey, Go to this site http://www.jvc.com/ and check for a dealer in your area. You can also download the manual for the KW-NT1.
