If Ford ever decides to bring back the Thunderbird nameplate, I kind of hope the Thunderbird goes back to being a 2 door 4 seat coupe like's it's been through most of it's existance. They would sell a lot more and it's a car that is a little bit more practical and easier to use and live with on a daily basis.

That's a snap of the Ford GR1 Concept...it was planned to be the successor to the GT40, but the bean counters had other ideas.

Those links are just part of a software program that are used basically by 'web spammers'. They just take what has come before and insert current release dates. The point is to sell ads.

If you click the link on post 20 and look at the shots it contains, you'll see someone creatively "Tbirdized" the silver Shelby, and tinted it red.

Thanks Skip. I've now read it on the internet so it has to be true. I'm going down to my local Ford store and sign up for the latest "Manage the Wait" program. I wonder when we can expect to see the 2010 Thunderbird in the showroom?

I've done some digging and here's a list of the colors to be offered:

1.) "What are you smokin'? GRAY"
2.) "Lookin' through your ROSE colored glasses"
3.) "In your wildest dreams MIDNIGHT BLACK"
