    Re: exhaust

I have mine hanging on the wall of my garage & plan to keep them. I have thought of cutting the cross over resulting in having 2 pieces that I could then get into the attic but they are not in my way as they are so I have not done that.

      Re: exhaust

I had mine cut, after they were marked, just in case they ever had to go back on...Also in case MA bans aftermarket exhausts It made it easier to get them home, in the Borla boxes, where they are now stored.

Hanging on the garage wall - will probably split and store in the attic, but I doubt Texas will ever ban after-market exhausts (down here it's practically required.)

Mine are in the storage space under my deck.

If you can store them somewhere, it is better to have them than to wish you didn't toss them out. Based upon what Massachusetts is doing, one of these days you may need to reinstall them...

                  Re: exhaust

Newbie Kent here. I have a couple of Mustangs with Ford Racing mufflers which have a pressure sensitive flap. At idle and low throttle, the flap directs the exhaust thru all of the muffler. Same thing at highway speed. So, this is a no drone, quiet exhaust. Get on it, the flap directs the exhaust to only a portion of the muffler...the result is a robust roar. I like this set up a lot.

So, please give me some personal experience on the Borla exhaust system. Does it drone at highway speed? What is the tone under spirited acceleration? Why would I want to replace the OEM exhaust?
