  • defective air conditioner

I have a 2002 bird with less than 6,000 miles.I don't use it very often and that may be my problem. It will only blow hot air and only from the drivers side vent.I tried to run the DATC self test and even that doesn't seem to work.Any ideas on where to go next will sure be appreciated.
    Thanks Bernie T.

How do you do the self-test? I went out this morning and pressed the "Off" button and the "Defrost" button simultaneously and then pressed the "Auto" button within two seconds but nothing happened. Do you hold down the off & defrost buttons and while keeping them held down then press the auto button? Or do you press the first two and release and then press the auto button within two seconds? Either way, I couldn't get anything to happen. Any suggestions?
