94mcd sent me a NASCAR Scene magazine for August 13, 2009 that he gets. There is a Sunoco ad in that magazine for the same promotional - page 37
The interesting thing about that picture is that it looks sort of like a T-bird but sort of not. The tail light doesn't look exactly right and the license plate area is different from the real thing. They probably changed it up just enough to avoid paying Ford anything for using the likeness of a T-bird in their ad.

        Re: Go Sunoco

No Sunoco Stations in Indiana. There used to be back in the 50s and 60s. I remember the pumps had a dial on them and you could adjust the dail to get different octane gas. I kind of shyed away from them when I started driving and buying my own gas, I didn't have too much faith in that dial. My usual gas was Clark Super 100 at that time for my 57 Mercury Monteray Hard Top and later my 64 Chevy Super Sport. I knew the guy that ran the Clark Station near me and they always gave out stamps when you bought thier gas, and when you filled a book it was worth $1.00 worth of gas. Alot of people didn't want the stamps so this guy would always give all the extra stamps he had in his pockets to me when I came in for gas. It was my girlfreinds job to lick the stamps and put them in the books. We got alot of free gas. Leroy
