Clear Door Edge Guards

T-Birders:

With the long doors, I keep gently nudging my wife's car door.

Auto Zone has clear door edge guards that snap on the door. Mine are mounted from the window edging down to the second horizontal crease. They are almost totally invisible.

The brand name is "Style Guard", model T3800 U-Shape Style CLEAR guard.

I have them on my VMG, but don't forget to change them periodically. They get dirt and mold in them and look kind of grungy if you don't. It is easy to forget they are on and then one day you look at them and they are gross.

Now, if there were only similiar body side moldings available, I'd be less nervous parking my Bird on parking lots when the "hinter lands" type parking space is not availasble.

They "grunge" up quickly.
