  • T-Bird Article in Today's Fresno Bee

Hey, front page in today's local rag, the Fresno Bee, is an article about some ladies in the South San Joaquin Valley that have T-Birds, both older Birds and retro Birds. I think SugarBabe knows one of them. Maybe we can get together with them sometime.

If you want to see the article, or print a copy of it, go to this website: http://www.fresnobee.com/263/story/1540588.html

It's a two page article, with several photos, so feel free to check it out.

Wow Rusty...your taste in uhhh....."vintage" (and I don't mean the cars) seems to have changed drastically since Wilmington. But I have to agree, you can't ignore a single woman with a T-Bird and $$$.

This article was not so good for the men - seemed to indicate they should be in Corvettes (ladies go for the Tbirds).

So driving a Tbird is good for attracting ladies, sounds goood to me!

Most of the time I see a guy in a Vette [or Porsche] he is by himself!

Most of the time I see Tbirds it's a couple enjoying the day!

I'll keep the Tbird and the wife!

You know, that is very true -- it's nice to see how many really happy couples there are in this group -- I noticed that from the first time I went to an event. Maybe we should start up a t-bird singles forum so all the happy single t-birders could meet!

FLoretta Schletewitz is a life long friend. My mom grew up in the country with her husband Stanley. I am sure you know them!!! Their family goes way back to Russia with mine!! Great grandparents were friends, grandparents were friends, parents were friends and us kids are dear friends!! I guess she doesn't own one yet, but goes on the rides with them!! I actually know the whole Schletewitz family. So glad she is having a good time. I went to the hospital when Stanly was very sick before he passed. I was also at his funeral!!

I never met Stanley, but I did go from Kindergarten through High School with his brother Ron. The older brother Clayton is married to my 4th cousin. I might be giving my age away, but I can still remember when Maxine's father worked for Fresno County. He would scrap the road in front of our house with a horse drawn scraper preparing it for resurfacing.
