Yes, I bought a new cover and had it painted at my trusty Ford shop. Nice base coat with several layers of clear... great shine, great results !!

It looks great in blue. But if you like the blue better than the chrome, I will buy your chrome one.

I did this to my '02 Blue last year and the heat turned the T-Bird Blue paint to green after a few months. I took the cover off it looked so bad...hope you have better luck.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.. Ron, I really am a bling guy at heart, and my shock tower covers are chromed which I will keep... Dino... I sure hope my cover survives !! Luckily I have a back up plan !!!

Sorry Mark, I couldn't tell from that angle. I do prefer the chrome.
