  • Steve Legel in Auto Week Magazine

I just received the new issue of Auto Week (August 10th) in the mail today. Lo and behold, but there is a very nice article about our boy Steve Legel and his car and memorabilia collections. It addresses mostly the Thunderbirds, of course, but mentions the Challengers as well. Nicely done with pix of the cars and a small part (I assume) of his TBird memorabilia collection, but no pix of him. If I can figure out how, I'll attach a copy of the article. Way to go Steve. Is your collection open for tours?

PS: I wonder when they'll find out about Dot's collection.....

Steve if you want my copy just p.m. me your address and I will send it along. It arrived today in the mailbox, I have read it, and I made a point of keeping it "clean" and fingerprint free.

                Congrats!

Skip, thank you for posting. I got home late from working on the Chevy, and was just about to share with the nest. I spent a fun afternoon with Phil Berg. He wrote two books, "Ultimate Garages" and has seen Leno's and Bob Lutz garag-mahols. He was surprised at my city dweller set up. I think he did a great job capturing what I do.

I'm doing just the opposite. I'm going out to buy a copy and say "HEY! I know this guy". ...Hmmm, wonder if he'd sign it for me.....

Nice to see a bird lover get some recognition for all the hard work, and diligence in restoring and collecting. Great job. Do I have your permission to say "I know him!"?
