Re: WHICH CAR TO TAKE, Hmmmm?

A quick update on our trip down to the Gulf Coast. When we pulled up outside our hotel in a two seat convertible, it was funny to see all the looks of amazement as I kept pulling bag after bag from the car!
When I disappeared for a fourth time and came out with a guitar, a couple who had been watching said," You must be a magician, do you have a trap door under that thing"?
It is surprising how much baggage will fit in the t-bird. The trick was to make the trip down and back with the top up. This left the space where the roof folds away into free for my guitar and two bags. In the trunk we had one full size case and two smaller bags, one on each side.
Course, once we were unpacked, we did as much top down cruisin as possible and it was wonderful, we had lots of nice comments on the car. Only saw two other birds in the whole week down there which surprised me a bit. Thought there might have been more down there.
