I love the pin stripes and redline tires, but only a Georgia fan would do that to the hood...well, maybe an Alabama fan would also.

Just kidding, just kidding. I've had two white T-birds and that's probably my favorite color. The '83 had red pinstripes from the factory and I wish I would have added them to the '90 SC. If you're happy, I'm happy.

Love the striping, not so much the scoop. But most important is that you and your partner like it. Enjoy in good health for a long time.

                Ken and Mildred,

Margaret and I both love the pinstripe. Margaret especially loves the signature.

Question......how long does it take for this artist to do this pinstripe?

He's not located too, too far from Choo-Choo Thunder. It's possible we could make a pre or post Choo-Choo trip to his location (or maybe he would come to C/C).

Charlie, It took 4 hours total to do my car. The pinstripes probably took an hour on each side. I don't see why he wouldn't consider coming to choo-choo if there is enough interest. He travels across the country to motorcycle events to do his work. Be sure to check out his web site at www.scarecrowart.com If you want me to, I can call him after the holiday and ask about the number he would need to come to Chattanooga.
Bryson City is about 110 miles East of Chattanooga.

The photos below are similar to what he did on my bike.
I never took pictures before I sold the bike.
He did 15 images in three colors on my bike in about 3 hours.
It was amazing to watch him do the same image on both sides of the bike. He paints like he's writing so one side is left to right then the other is right to left. My bike was two toned light and dark blue with gold striping from the factory. He mixed a matching gold color to use, then a medium blue that looked dark on the light paint and light on the dark paint third color was lavender.

                        Re: Unexpected Birthday gift.

"purist heart attacks" should be ignored!

The work on your car is first rate done by someone who is obviously talented. It's not for me but it's your car. If it makes you happy or proud to own it that's all that counts.

At the risk of inspiring my own post that will require a "Flame Suit"........ The T-Bird was relatively small production by Detroit standards but still it's a mass production vehicle of very limited value right now.

MAYBE the day will come when enough of these cars have been crushed, smashed and just plain worn out beyond any hope of revival .......and IF people still want 'em when that day comes......

Then the purists will have a rant worthy of consideration.

But.........today there are still enough unmolested, low mileage examples at reasonable prices out there that it's hard to imagine anyone could make a serious rant against what you've done here.

                        Ride on!

                          Ken,

Your car looks cool. You never cease to amaze me with the things you do to your car - way to make it your own!

What is this about you two not being at Choo-Choo? It is practically in your back yard, so you better be there so we can see you folks.
