I've got to say that with all the recent talk of things going wrong with peoples TB's I am rethinking the extended warranty.

I have an '03 with only 25k on it. Now that my son has taken the truck the TB has become my daily driver.
But which one?? BaseCare, ExtraCare, or PremiumCare

Would any of you care to expound upon your experience as to what you are buying and at what price you had to pay, it could benefit quite a number of us I think.Thanks !!

What you buy is certainly up to you based upon cost and your affordability. I went with the premium package.
At least call for the prices on all. You'll always see $2-300 between them. Mine was $1295 and I would guess if post 104 is the Connecticut number, they'll be the closest to that number, but may not be that low....
It costs nothing to make them an offer. BTW, there's usually a $100. inspection feetoo. Try your local dealer too. Sometimes if you have that CT deal you give your local guy a shot and he'll meet it - These are flexible..

BrewMaster, It's all about how much money you want to spend. Premium being more expensive because it covers more, I think is the best choice. Then you get into deductables, zero being the most expensive and up from there. In 07 when the warranty on my 04 was about to expire, I extended it till 08/2011 or 48,000, with Premium Care at zero deductable for $1800.00 at my local Ford dealer. My car now has just over 17,000 miles on it and I've never used the warranty at all, and I plan on renewing it before it expires if I can? I think it's also a good selling point if you want to sell the car too, as it can be tranfered to the new owner or cashed in if the car is totaled or stolen. Leroy
