  • In Defense of T-Birds

The December '09 issue of Collectible Automobile has a neat letter from Bill
Maloney in defense of our Birds that is worth sharing.

Here is a scan of the letter.

I can agree with that, although I don't think you need to make all those modifications to get the high fives. Leroy

If that doesn't work for you, then go to the top of the screen to "view" on the downdown menu and click on on it then go down to the zoom and and click on it then increase it to 150% and you should be able to read it with no problem.

Other than that I loved the article and am always glad to see complimentary articles on our Birds.

I don't feel like the retrobird needs to be defended. I loved it the first time I saw the concept car and I still love it after almost 8 years of ownership. If the pundits that loved it when it came out, but turned against it when it became the cool thing to do don't get it - well, that's their problem.

I also had a tough time reading it but I was able to get through it.He describes the Bird to a T.A cruiser with just the right amount of space and getting a lot of from people. Some of you original owners maybe able to answer this ,do you find more people admiring your T-Bird now than when it was new ?
