Re: "Thunderbird" logo on rear quater panel
It's interesting to see what influenced the designers of the Retro 'Bird for use of the Thunderbird script. On the '55/'56 models, the script is placed on the rear fenders. On the '57, the script was moved to the front (probably because of the fins) and the chevron V8 emblem was left off, probably to maintain an all around uncluttered look.
