Boot Manufacturer?

Has anyone gone to the trouble of trying to find out who made the boots for our tbirds? and been successful in finding out who did?

A friend of mine just bought an 02 and called me over to look at it. It came with two boots in the trunk. Niether one is like the original ones that came with the car or like mine. One was like real soft Black leather and stored in a nice bag and the other was real stiff and only folded in half. It didn't roll up like the one that came with my car and it was missing a snap and she told me I could have it if I wanted it. I'll see if I can get some more info on that nice one she kept. I didn't see it installed on the car but it looked like it would look alot better than the stock boot. Leroy

The really soft one is made by Z3solutions.
The stiff one is the original that came with her 02. An upholsterer may be able to fix the missing snap. It is the best looking boot when installed on any of the tbirds but a pain to store, even in the trunk and the reason why your boot is a fold up boot.

Thanks for the info, maybe I'll get it fixed and use it and store it in my garage instead of in the trunk. I thought the one she kept might look the best? Leroy

Get it done in red to match your interior accent!

Leroy, the soft boot is mainly a utility boot - works but doesn't have the best look to it when installed.
