Black Retro Bird on Dutch TV

Yesterday Dutch TV ran a documentary on a succesful businesman that owns a travel agency. This Dutch Turkisch guy build the company by himself into a multi million operation with an annual turnover of $185 million and owns his own fleet of airplanes.

When the interviewer asks him why he lives in a simple house and does not live like a millionair, the guy says he does not value all that. The only thing important to him he says is his Thunderbird.
How about that...

There is some nice shots of him and the car in the documentary. It takes a while to load after the advert in the box on the left. So be patient.

Might be able to send him an e-mail via his company. Yesterday I went to an exhibition and saw two other Retros, a Silver and a Red. Did not see the owners though. And had no cards with me either

Hi there,
On the subject of T-Birds on tv. I caught a quick glimpse of a red, I think 56 bird with the hard top on. This was part of a Lucas commercial for Automatic Transmission Fluid. Anyone else seen that one?

Hey Frits,
I enjoyed watching the video very much. It was fun trying to see how much of the Dutch language I could understand, it being similar to Deutsch (German). Not similar enough to get everything he was answering but enough to see how down to earth he is. After all what more does one need than a beautiful wife, two great kids, a place to sleep and last but not least a Black Thunderbird!
