  • Softtop on fire?

Yesterday I detailed the Bird and gave it a good wash. After I was done I went in to get a cup of coffee. When I came out I almost had a stroke. It looked as if my softtop caught fire.

Lucky it was only the sun warming up the top and causing steam to come out.
Made a little film of it also:

Steam cleaning the top is a good idea.

When I first read your top caught fire I was worried that your orange wig caught fire with you under it. Got to keep the orange wig in good shape for the next event Frits.

I see that effect just about every morning on the Shelby's black top from the dew as the sun comes up (but then, Torch Red cars are smokin' hot)!

Yeah, that use to happen to me in the morning, too. Not to my car ... to me. Back when my thatch had color, it was EB, ya see.
