  • Nice Day in So.Cal

Just got back from a cruise along PCH to the beach where we at an early dinner. Afterward we walked up the huntington beach pier and watched the surfers as the sun was setting. Then took the long way home along PCH again.
73 degrees out and sunny going. Sunset coming home. Top down all the way. What can I say, does it get anymore California stereotype than a top down
    T-bird and Pacific Coast Highway!

Unfortunately I forgot my Beach Boys CD.

        Sixpac,

you're right, I should have had my camera. I'll put a camera in the car and leave it there for moments like these in the future. It never occurred to me.

            Hi Sugarbabe,

Beautiful up there. Especially the coastal drive. Are you staying at the Madonna in? different place. My sister worked there a long time ago.

Sugar Babe it is not nice to throw your weather up into the faces of us that are not soooooo fortunate as winter approachs. With all that HOT weather you are bragging about you had better be careful or your stock of

What a great day! .. Top down to the marina and a nice sail on the bay. Top down to dinner and home now, mid 70's. I don't know why anybody lives any where else, maybe owning a Tbird lets you enjoy this 'postcard' living on a vacarious level? Did I spell that right? OK, the Southern California education system is lacking a little.

SugarBabe and I are staying at the PeachTree Inn on Monterey Street, near downtown SLO. It's a neat little family-type motel.

Had an awesome day with our nephew (his 22'nd B-day today) and his family. We'll go home tomorrow.

Must be nice!...enjoy...as for me, well, it's cold in America's Dairyland, the portholes are on and the seats are heated. These cars are a real treat either way. --Lindy

You guys from that coast worry to much about earth quakes!!! I would worry more about those tornadoes you get!!

Besides Ron, I40 in Memphis has been retrofitted for earthquakes!! Missouri (right next to Tenn) had the biggest earthquake EVER in 1811 and 1812...it rang the church bells in Boston and the Mississippi river began to flow backwards in to the Reelfoot Lake!!! Sorry, Sugar Daddy spent the last twelve years of his engineering career retrofitting bridges for earthquakes!!

SugarBabe, We get quakes in East Tennessee also. Yesterday about noon a 3.0 occurred about 25 miles east of Chattanooga. http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_162236.asp
