Re: Good Bye My T-Bird Beauty

It's been beautiful here in Nashville, low 70's and sunshine. I had to pick David up from the Car Show on Friday and drove the TBird. When I picked him up he had a big smile on his face and said, " I knew you would take out the TBird." I said "Why wouldn't I, it is half mine now."

This is the first year for my 02 to be driven after 10/31. It is my daily driver now, but still does not get a lot of milage on it.

Not storing the 02 TB blue til the snow begins to fall heavy enough to call for the road salters, hopefully late December...or who knows January? Love the cold weather in Wisconsin and the heated seats, and that porthole style. There's nothing like a November drive on an icy cold day with light white flurries falling! I say, "let it snow" (so long as it's only flurries)!

70 mile trip today with the top down, heater on, northern NJ to Greenwood Lake and return.

I noticed that the scenic views seem to be better this time of the year, probably because the trees have dropped all their leaves and you can see views that were hidden during the summer.

Maybe a short trip tomorrow to the Paterson Falls and Garrett Mountain.

If we can get one more really good day, I'd like to take a trip to The Delaware Water Gap.

I will not be storing her for the winter, but I will be very selective as to when she comes out of the garage.

Still haven't decided if putting on the top is worth the effort. She's not going out in rain or snow.

Had the top down today in Maryland.... Weather was nice and temp was around 68 here. My wife and I put the hardtop on at the end of the day. Not that hard to do if you take your time. Will drive it in the winter if it isn't wet and the sun is out! It does look to good with the hardtop to keep it inside all winter!
