Re: Need help. How do I carry a parade dignitary?

I have used flags in several of my T Bird cruises. I make the flags (pennants) -you can see them in other threads about my events.
The front ones are inserted down into the cowl in front of the windshield. The driver side one goes next to the hood hinge. They are a snug fit that manage well at low speeds. The one on the passenger side has to be inserted only into the FIRST slot that you see down there. The rear ones need a dowel that is slightly smaller in circumference and is inserted in the thin slot where the trunk lid meets the side rear fender on the top of the tail light lens. Be gentle! Good luck.
In order to decorate a Bird for occasions like this, you have to be creative since there are so few places to attach anything. Suggestions: rear view external mirrors, shoulder strap channels on the tops of the seats near the headrests. Not much else.
