Sorry for your collison, Dave. Guess those prayers for safe travel held up for you and Claire since you both were not hurt. I'm sure you'll get the car fixed up as good as new.
I had a relatively close call with a deer Thursday night while I was driving the Focus. Thanks to a warning from another driver, I was looking for something to be wrong ahead of me. Sure enough a wounded deer was laying in the middle of the road. Not sure who had hit it, but I'm sure they got a bit of damage as the deer was larger than they average ones we have around here.

OK Dave, enough of the BS. Just how did you bribe that deer to take a hit so you could justify to Claire that front end mod you've been contemplating for months?????
Dave, It would be interesting to keep us posted as to how your insurance company handles this. It doesn't look like your grill is damaged, but it would be a good time to install one of those billit grills maybe and keep the original s a spare. I think they give the car a clean custom look. Leroy

Well...MMM, will stay true to her name. 3155 mils round trip. With 41 miles to go..........WHAM!!! Three Deer cross the road, One didn't make it. Soooo, guess whats gets a whole new nose. Up, MMM to a hit. Caught square with my front drivers headlight. The wrap arround fascia is toast.
Trying to up load pic's, but mine compter is giving me troube, so I sole Claires for the moment. I'll work on mine whenever we finally wake up, got in at 4 am.
We lucky, had we caught him dead center, he would have been in the car via the windshield. We fine, but shook up about it. First accident since driving started way back in 1963.
Does anyone know if those little deer repelling gadgets work? I see them in all the auto parts stores, but have never heard how or if they scare away deer.
REMEMBER, SOCEITY WILL HAVE ONLY AS MUCH CRIME AS IT IS WILLING TO TOLERATE!
