Has anyone had any experience with this product relative to a 2002 Bird? It is offered through Thunderbird Concepts as a "New Item" and I would appreciate any input from those who may have purchased and installed this system since it seems that K&N does not make a cold air system for the 2002 Bird. Thanks in advance! D.L.

I had one installed on my 2002, and I liked it a lot. It was very easy to install. I noticed a little mileage and performance increase, and it sounded pretty cool! Probably not as cool as some other mods, like Borlas, but still was nice. Have not yet installed one on my 05. -

It's on mine too. Had a mechanic install it, no problem. Put on at the same time as the Borla's. I concur a bit better performance.sigpic

That was the second thing I did to my car after getting the SCT Livewire for it. Took me all of 30 minutes to put it in and fab up a metal shield to block out the under-hood hot air from getting to the filter.sigpic
